Toxic Diesel Fumes

Diesel Exhaust

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has listed diesel exhaust as a likely cause of cancer in humans. Repeated or long-lasting exposure to diesel fumes also causes and worsens a variety of lung diseases.

Many people are exposed to diesel fumes on a nearly daily basis. Miners, railroad employees, construction workers, truckers, and even school children exposed to bus fumes are given no real choice but to inhale diesel exhaust day-after-day. Anyone else working near roads, on railroads, in mines, or anywhere where diesel is used to fuel vehicles or equipment are likewise exposed to harmful diesel fumes daily.

Workers who develop unexplained cancers or lung conditions, and who have been exposed to diesel fumes, should contact Tom Burcham.
